MWF 75th Annual Celebration Highlighted by Conservation Awards

Helena, MT -The Montana Conservation Awards program is recognized across the state as one of the most prestigious efforts to acknowledge the contributions of individuals and organizations working on behalf of wildlife, hunting, fishing and conservation. The Awards established 30 years ago by Montana Wildlife Federation was one program within the recent Federation 75th Annual Meeting held in Helena Saturday, April 17, 2010.

Jim Posewitz, Helena, biologist, author, and former Executive Director of Orion -The Hunters Institute and the Cinnabar Foundation was awarded the first Heritage Award recognizing his dedication and lifetime achievements, "In very special recognition of an individual who has demonstrated an outstanding lifetime of dedication to conserving the wildlife and wild lands and waters of Montana."
