Mark is a lifelong hunter, angler, and shooter who feels fortunate to have been born and raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

He spent most of his career in the soft drink, financial services and light metal industries. Mark has an extensive background in marketing, direct sales and operations management. In addition, he has served on numerous corporate boards, as well as regional and national brand and product development committees.

Now retired, Mark volunteers his time and expertise to several conservation groups. He joined Orion-The Hunters' Institute in 2002, and is now serving his second term as the organization's board president and looks forward to the challenges that lie ahead.

Mark now lives near Marquette, Mich. and spends most of his free time time chasing muskies, king salmon, whitetails, and ruffed grouse with his family and friends.
